Hello all,

Hope you are having a great day today! I sure did :]

So math was blah, we just did review and worked on problems with partners. It was cool though becasue I got to talk with a friend, and drank my coffee! Health was ok too, we just finished up the presentations. I guess I am biased, but I think ours was the best ;) we got a 91% so I am pretty happy!

In band, we had a different teacher who usually teaches the better band. It completley showed how incapeable our normal teacher is! We got through more than we would in like a week with the normal teacher!

German was fun too (as usual). We got to watch a lot of our movie. It is about a kid who's mom woke up from a coma and germany had reunited while she was asleep. So they are trying to keep her from realizing that there is no more DDR(East Germany) because if she gets too stressed or excited she could have another heart attack. It is interesting and funny at times, plus our normal teacher taught us vocab, so that was good. So much better pronunciation!

Tonight was church, and we did an entire service of worship! It was so awesome, we just sang and reflected on our lives the whole time :) I have to share a few of my favorite worsip songs on here, but I am too tired tonight! haha

I want to thank you so much for all of your advice on my question from yesterday. I thought about it, and I mean, why not tell her? She is a friend, and I am going to be moving anyways, so I don't really care what everyone thinks (not that I should anyways...) So I am going to tell her tomorrow. I am a bit nervous (ok quite a lot) because I have never really told anyone at all. The only people who know about my ED are my doctors, parents, and sister, and of course you guys!  And anyone else that does know, my parents told them, like my coach (to make sure I was eating while I was riding and stuff) so I have never had to do it myself. I have nothing to be ashamed of so I am going to go ahead and go for it I guess :) wish me luck!

P.S. Lucie, to answer your question, no my bars haven't come yet, but I am patiently waiting! :) I will post a pic when they get here! And ALL of you should check out lucie's bars! She's got bars named after some of our fellow bloggers =D So check it out!

Saturday :)

Hope you are all having a nice Saturday evening :]

So, this afternoon, I helped my dad with replacing the hoses on our car. We had planned on going on a ride, but the snow ruled that out :/

So the car took way longer than I expected, and before I knew it I had to go up to church to work at the cafe. I arrived and saw to my surprise, a new grinder! :D A brand new mazzer luigi, Love <3
The best espresso I have made at the cafe to date!

So that was my big surprise of the day, and it was good for me :)

Then the church service was amazing. I know it's probably annoying that I say this all the time, but I have recently just loved the services and I feel like I am learning so much!
Tonight was focused on 2 Samuel 22. It talks about how david had so much faith, even in
times of struggle. Our pastor talked about how we can learn to embrace God, even
when it feels like he is nowhere to be found in our lives. I will try to get the audio file and
post it, because it was so insightful, and i think it would help anyone struggling with anything
in their lives.
So tomorrow, I plan on riding my bike outside :0 I hope I can remember how ;] I will let you know

Have a wonderful saturday night!

Overnight at the church

Yesterday I had an overnight with my small group and a couple of other groups last night, as I posted last night. It went pretty well, but I was SOOO tired. I was going nonstop from like 11:30 am until 11:00 that night. I went on a bike ride, then went to church to work at the cafe, then I ate dinner, and went back to church. Long day! I was so worn out, so I went to bed just after midnight. I know I am such a boring person ;] So anyway, I felt a bit weird because they ordered pizza at 9:30, and I didn't want pizza, so I didn't eat it. Then a few guys were like "why aren't you eating?" I had planned ahead, and for dinner my parents wanted to go to Skyline Chili, so I went with them, and got a salad there. I got home and had some more to eat because I knew I wouldn't have a night snack. So I had some yogurt.

Then I get to the overnight, and I don't know what it is about teenage guys, but apparently everyone drinks regular soda? Now I don't drink soda, even diet, because it bothers my acid reflux, but I think it was a bit odd.

Anyways, long story short, I brought some bars with me so I had a key lime pie Larabar around 10:30. It felt kinda weird to be eating that late, but I dealt with it.

So, all in all a great night of just relaxing and hanging out with friends. I feel like I am getting a bit better about eating at social events like this, but I still have a long way to go.

Have a GREAT Sunday!

Continually amazed...

I continue to be amazed with what God does in my life. He always knows exactly what I need and when I need it, even when I have no idea.
Today I was planning to go to a winter training class I go to twice a week starting last week on Monday and Wednesday for cycling. I called to see if they had other times open, and it turns out, they had an opening for Tuesday and Thursday, so I took that so I could go to church.
The reason this was so amazing was because of the message at church tonight. The whole service was about self image and how we perceive ourselves. The focus was on the fact that we are not what we are because of what we did, but rather what God did. It doesn't matter what our peers or others think about us, it is about how we glorify god.
I am so glad I got to go to church tonight, because when I was singing, I realized that I was not as far away from ED as I thought I was. I realized that I am still hearing ED voices about "going back down to weight, and that I will be more competitive at a lower weight", and now I realized that none of it really matters anyway! I know I knew this before, but this made me really GET it.
I am so thankful that god knows exactly what I need and fulfills me.
