well I'm sorry for such a long break from blogging, but I have had a lot of things to do! I FINALLY convinced my mom to keep Gretchen (our new dog). She was so ready to just get rid of her. Anyway, I hope all of you had a nice thanksgiving :) I just had a thanksgiving with my cousins and other familyhere in town and it was nice. I can remember last year when I was so worried about eating things there and I wouldn't even have any bread :( I had just put a little turkey on a massive salad without any dressing. It is sad to think about my past, but it reminds me of what I don't want to go back to. My grandma is in town now, probably until about wednesday, and it is kinda stressful :/ She keeps making comments about how I am eating. Like when I have my night snack she is like "you are eating again" and then today we ate an early dinner and I ate most of my plate and she was like "You are going to gain weight if you keep eating like that." It made me so self concious because I had already been nervous about the butter in the dish, and that comment pushed me even further. I just keep reminding myself that it is OK and that I am not finished with my journey back to health, and that gaining is what I need to do. It is just so hard when people that you love are so ignorant to the sting of their words.
Hopefully this wasn't a completeley depressing post, I just needed to get my feelings out there

Long Break
Sorry about my long absence from the blog world : I have been very busy. School has been going pretty well, but I'll find out tomorrow for sure when I get my report card. I also had an awesome exchange student, Pascal, from Germany for the past three weeks. It was so nice to meet someone new and take my mind completeley off of ED. I also got a suprise last weekend about a new dog in the house! My Grandma had gotten a friend's dog that was moving to an apartment that didn't allow dogs about 6 months ago. Apparently, she is not a dog person sooo. . . now she lives with me:) She is great and we named her gretchen. I will put up pictures soon. Hope you are all having a great week!
